T is for tiredness

If you are struggling with tiredness it can be down to a few reasons. Your gut health, lifestyle and diet play a huge role in the nutrients you are breaking down (or not breaking down) and therefore absorbing, causing you to feel different symptoms including tiredness, brain fog and poor concentration.

If you’re not breaking down your food properly due to a lack of enzymes or HCL (stomach acid) you are not going to absorbing enough magnesium and b vitamins to produce energy. Caffeine and alcohol also deplete the body of these essential energy producing vitamins and minerals.

Eating a bitter salad of rocket or watercress can start stimulating digestive enzymes and bile flow before your main meal to allow for maximum break down and absorption of food. Having this before your evening meal can really aid the process.
